NSW OC Thinking Skills Practice Test - 02
This NSW OC Thinking Skills practice test helps Year 4 students develop logical reasoning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills for the NSW Opportunity Class Placement Test.
The test focuses on three key areas:
- Quantitative reasoning: Interpreting numerical information and solving problems involving rates, comparisons and constraints
- Argument evaluation: Examining claims, identifying weaknesses in reasoning and deciding whether evidence supports a conclusion
- Ordering and position: Using multiple clues to solve ranking, sequencing and arrangement problems
Other questions cover logical deduction, spatial reasoning, patterns, codes, directions and certainty-based problems, providing practice across different NSW OC Thinking Skills question types.
Students can use this test to improve reasoning accuracy, identify gaps in their understanding and gain confidence in solving unfamiliar questions. Answers and explanations help students review their mistakes and understand the reasoning behind each solution.
